We begin on a cold snowy night in December.
The wind is blowing making it hard to see. But despite the weather conditions It's a
couple of day before Christmas Eve,and the air is full of what I can't quite describe, but maybe it will come to me later.
So I know your probably thinking what I'm doing out on such a night. Well allow me to
introduce myself before I continue with my story. I'm known to my readers as CD working
for the Hudson Falls Journal Newspaper. You may remember me from my cover story on life
in Whispering Pines. It was an article where being stuck in a snow storm, I came the village by accident.
I was so taken by the people that I had to write about their small town. I'm proud to say that I
won the Hudson Falls writer's award that year. Anyway my assignment now is to cover a christmas
story. After long and hard debates with myself I decided to do a story on the Bakeman family.
They are a typical hard working family. Mr Bakeman works long and demanding hours to support
his family. Mrs Bakeman works just as hard taking care of their home and five children. But
when it comes to the christmas season. Mr. and Mrs. truly believe that time is to be spent
as a family. It's the time for sharing those precious moments,that so often become lost
during the year. I hope you enjoy "Christmas In Hudson Falls." And who knows maybe you will take
