uddenly just as it had started, the rain began to stop.
I was about to ventured out to look for some where else to hold up, buying
me time to get on with some plans of getting out of here. I looked around
to see if the coast was clear. Cautiously I began once again into
the woods but following the path. By staying in the woods it would be less
likely that anyone would spot me. Of course remember I already had a soul
on my tail.
fter walking for what seemed like hours, I stumbled across what appeared
to be an old abandoned house. I had no idea that I was about to find out
different about this house. It looked as though it had been empty for years.
Windows were broken or gone, shutters missing or half hanging off their hinges,
not to mention the porch itself looked if you made the wrong step it would
collapse. But at the moment all I knew was to look for a place to hide and get
much needed rest. Of course there was no reason to knock so I open the door
that sounded like it hadn't been oiled in years. Who knows what I was going to
find. I really was thinking that no one was in here. You never know in these
abandon places. Naturally I was thinking of some hobo or some kind of animal
being inside. Never dreaming of what I would be finding out later. The place was
dusty, dingy, and smelled musty. Walking across the floor was nerve racking too.
Hearing the creaking sound, was enough to wake the dead. On one wall was an old
fireplace with Lion heads on the mantle. Looking further I could see that someone
had been here and not too long ago. I was having doubts if this was such a good
place to stay. Footprints could clearly been seen. With this much dust on the
floor it couldn't be helped. I also saw prints that appeared to be animal like.
They were definitely huge prints. I made my way towards what seemed to be the
kitchen. At the time I didn't think about it but I didn't see any signs of
dishes or cookware. Little did I know, but those items weren't weren't needed
down here. Starting to investigate more I noticed that in the cabinet there was
shelf paper but no impressions in them at all. I went back to the living room
and started towards the upstairs.
ondering around upstairs all I found was your typical bedrooms. There
was no signs of any furniture in any of the rooms. Opening one of the bedroom's
closets, standing in the corner was an old cot. After dusting it off, setting it up,
I laid down to get some rest. It wasn't long before I went off into a deep sleep.
One would have thought being that it had been dark for a long time that when I woke
up it would be daylight.
